NAPABA Statement on Charlottesville Violence

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) strongly condemns the hate, discrimination, and violence displayed this past weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, by white nationalists. Our core values — acceptance, diversity, and inclusiveness — will overcome the forces of hate and racism.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Heather Heyer, who was murdered in an act of unconscionable violence, and all those injured by and witness to this hate.

For more information, the media may contact Brett Schuster, NAPABA communications manager, at 202-775-9555 or
