IHC Summit |
2024 In-House Counsel SummitAugust 29-30 | New York, NYThe Application is Now ClosedThe NAPABA In-House Counsel (IHC) Summit is a career and skills development program designed to help current and former public company senior and experienced in-house attorneys make the jump into the C-Suite, with a focus on diversifying the legal leadership of Fortune 1000 companies. Drawing on the collective experience of senior leaders in the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community, participants will receive tailored guidance and training based on where they are in their career. Participants will be exposed to experienced and established faculty, including current and former General Counsels, C-Suite Executives, and senior professionals from search firms. Through a series of panels and support, participants will learn how to navigate the search process, address corporate leadership challenges, and position themselves for success as a legal leader. The relationships fostered through this program ultimately build a pathway to promote the advancement of AANHPI lawyers to positions of leadership and influence. Additionally, this program strengthens NAPABA’s initiative of curating, cultivating, and promoting a robust pipeline of senior AANHPI in-house counsel who are “ready soon” to become Fortune 1000 General Counsels. For this year’s IHC Summit, Korn Ferry will be providing the KF4D assessment based on its proprietary best-in-class “General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer Success Profile” to provide data-driven insights and areas of development for this year’s participants. KF4D or Korn Ferry Four-Dimensions, is the psychometric assessment tool that Korn Ferry uses as part of their executive search and professional search practices to gain a data-driven look at how well a candidate fits a particular role and company culture. Participants will gain insights on their individual fit for General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer roles, their development gaps and how to close these gaps at a high level. Korn Ferry search partners will decode the KF4D assessment in a panel discussion during the IHC Summit and provide high-level trends identified across the participants. If desired, individual participants can engage Korn Ferry for 1-on-1 debrief sessions and individualized development and executive coaching programs. About Korn Ferry Korn Ferry is a global organizational consulting firm. We work with organizations to design their organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities.
