2024 Partners SummitAugust 29-30 | New York, NYApplications Are Now ClosedThe NAPABA Partners Summit is an interactive program designed to deepen relationships and bolster the collective impact of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) law firm partners. Participants will collaborate on issues facing AANHPI partners, strategies to successfully lead and progress within law firms, and how to forge meaningful connections with the next generation of AANHPI partners. This program is hosted in parallel with the In-House Summit, providing law firm partners an opportunity to expand their network and demonstrate support for current and former public company senior and experienced in-house AANHPI attorneys who seek to elevate into general counsel positions at Fortune 1000 companies. Content of the Partners Summit is designed for partners from large law firms. Partners Summit programming will begin at lunch time on Thursday, August 29th and conclude at lunch time on Friday, August 30th. Please note that attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging in New York City. NAPABA will share hotel room block information with accepted participants. SpeakersJoe CentenoShareholder, Board Member and Co-Chair of Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Section | Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PCJoe Centeno's practice includes collective and class action litigation, including Fair Credit Reporting Act, employment litigation, high stakes #MeToo matters, restrictive covenants, labor relations, policies, leave, termination of employment, joint employment, diversity and inclusion strategy and planning, Title IX investigation and compliance, and C-suite executive employment agreements. Joe is frequently asked to represent public companies with named executive officers regarding claims, including Sox and Dodd- Frank, employment agreements and separation. Joe counsels employers on virtually all employment and labor-related laws and regulations. He has extensive jury trial experience and has been lead trial counsel in numerous high-profile trials and arbitrations. Anna Mercado ClarkPartner, Leader of Data Security & Privacy and E-Discovery & Digital Forensics Teams | Phillips Lytle LLPAnna Mercado Clark, Esq., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP is a partner at Phillips Lytle LLP, a full service law firm in the U.S. and Canada. She leads Phillips Lytle’s Data Security & Privacy and e-Discovery and Digital Forensic Practice Teams and is the co-team leader of the firm’s Cryptocurrency & Bitcoin Mining Practice Team.
