May 12, 2020

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is proud to be an original organizational supporter of H.Res. 952, the resolution recognizing Southeast Asian refugees and their contribution to America, introduced by Congressman Alan Lowenthal of California.

The resolution marks the 45th anniversary of the Southeast Asian refugee crisis and development of the diaspora in the United States. It also commemorates the contributions of Southeast Asian Americans to the United States, urges the President to halt the deportation of Southeast Asian refugees, and calls for the advancement of equitable policies for Southeast Asian American communities.
