Celebrating the 2025 NAPABA Convention

What a powerful convening! The 2025 NAPABA Convention was nothing short of extraordinary—a celebration of community, connection, and the unstoppable spirit of our membership. The energy was palpable, the learning exceptional, and the sense of belonging unmatched.

Thank you for making this year’s Convention the second-largest convening in our history, with nearly 2,900 AANHPI attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students in attendance. We welcomed over 800 first-timers, who we know will return year after year to shape and grow our profession.

At a time when bar associations and affinity organizations face unique challenges, NAPABA reached a remarkable milestone—the largest sponsorship record in our history. This achievement reflects the steadfast commitment of our sponsors who continue to invest in our mission and our members. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and support in advancing opportunity, strengthening relationships, and cultivating leadership across the legal profession.

Each year, the Convention showcases the incredible breadth and depth of our community—our trailblazers, rising stars, and thought leaders who inspire us all. This year was no different. Our plenary luncheon featured the authors of the Portrait Project in a compelling conversation with legal leaders on how to advance AANHPI representation in an era of headwinds against diversity. Our Gala Keynote was an action-packed and lively fireside conversation between leading man actor Rich Ting and legal analyst and television host Katie Phang, exploring how to smash through parallel bamboo ceilings in Hollywood and the law.

But as always, the true headliners over the three incredible days in Denver were our members. You delivered substantive, informative, and cutting-edge content that educated, inspired, and lifted our bar to new heights in the Mile High City. You led best-in-class CLEs that advanced professional development and convened conversations on the policy and advocacy work needed to advance the interests of AANHPI communities. Thank you for showing up, sharing your expertise, and reminding us why the NAPABA community is so special.

We are eager to continue this momentum at NAPABA events and programs throughout the year and to reunite again in Los Angeles on November 12-15, 2026 at the JW Marriott L.A. Live. It promises to be our biggest and best Convention yet!
