Attendees will gain an insiders' perspective on what it is like to be in-house counsel at a major entertainment studio. They will learn about what entertainment in-house counsel do, the impact of gender and ethnicity, the challenges they face, their successes, potential changes in the industry. Attendees will also learn about in-house counsel's perspectives on best practices for outside counsel. Discussion topics will include experiences in the entertainment industry, impact of ethnicity/gender, strategies for dealing with challenges, mentorship, changes in the industry, most satisfying achievements, changes they anticipate or would like to see, advice for people who want to work in the entertainment industry, and advice for outside counsel.
