Join us for ACS’s Judicial Candidate Training on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021.

The training will last approximately one hour and a half and will provide an introduction to judicial nominations. Panelists will give their insights on how judges get nominated, including commissions, timelines, and the ABA process. Panelists will also discuss how the judicial candidates should work with the White House, Senate (or in some cases House) offices, Department of Justice, and outside organizations. Zoom information will be forthcoming.

Panelists include:

  • Phillip Brest, Chief Counsel for Nominations
  • Judge Pam Chen, U.S. District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York
  • Neil Eggleston, former White House Counsel
  • Judge Carlton Reeves, U.S. District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi
