APA Heritage Month Panel Discussion with Erika Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant to the President and the White House’s Senior Liaison to the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Community
The Hogan Lovells Asian Pacific American Affinity Group invites you to an APA Heritage Month event featuring opening remarks by Erika Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant to the President and the White House’s Senior Liaison to the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Community followed by an exclusive panel discussion on concerns and challenges facing the Asian American community. The event will be on Wednesday, June 16 at 2:00 PM EST. This one hour event will feature remarks by Ms. Moritsugu on President Biden’s Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander initiatives followed by a discussion by a distinguished panel including:
- John C. Yang, the President of Asian Americans Advancing Justice,
- Neal Katyal, partner at Hogan Lovells and former Acting Solicitor General of the United States, and
- Aura (Sunada-Matsumura) Newlin, Adjunct Professor, School of Culture, Gender & Social Justice, University of Wyoming
The panel will be moderated by senior associate Jalpit Amin, associate Harsimar Dhanoa and law clerk Shannon Zhang. The event will also feature an extended question & answer session with our distinguished panelists. The event is free and open to the public.
