There have been nearly 3,800 recorded hate incidents against the Asian American community over the past year. In January this year, President Biden issued a Memorandum Condemning and Combating Racism, Xenophobia, and Intolerance Against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Join NAPABA for a moderated discussion with representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice to learn about the Administration’s response to hate crimes and what communities can do to ensure safety.

Panelists Include:

  • Jay Greenberg, Deputy Assistant Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • Justin Lock, Conciliation Specialist, U.S. Department of Justice, Community Relations Service
  • Robert Moossy, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division

Moderator:

  • Rear Admiral A.B. Cruz III, USN (ret.), NAPABA President

No Press Allowed | Chatham House Rules

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance. Please submit a question before 5 pm ET on Tuesday, March 23.
