Entities that do business with the Federal Government have traditionally been subject to a number of labor-and-employment obligations, but the last quarter of 2021 is bringing a host of new requirements, some of which apply to a broad swath of entities that never considered themselves to be government contractors. One of the most visible requirements has been the compliance obligation with the COVID-19 protocols/guidance issued pursuant to Executive Order 14042 (often referred to as the “Federal Contractor Vaccine Mandate”). Like the expected Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard, the Federal Contractor Vaccine Mandate has raised many questions regarding vaccines, testing, and compliance. But other lesser-known obligations are coming as well, including the $15 minimum wage and a ban-the-box requirement, and those will also be addressed in this webinar.

Attendees will be able to identify potential triggers for compliance obligations and explain what contractors are required and prohibited from doing as a result of these new obligations.

NAPABA did not seek CLE for this program; however, this live webcast may be eligible for CLE credit in your jurisdiction. Please follow-up directly with your jurisdiction in order to self-apply for CLE credit.
