2026 Prospective Partners ProgramLos Angeles, CA | November 12-13, 2026Applications will open in early June, 2026
The Prospective Partners Program (PPP) aims to increase the number of NAPABA attorney member partners at major law firms through mentorship, relationship building, and professional development. As the program enters its fifteenth year, PPP will invite applications and nominations for participation in sessions held during the 2026 NAPABA Convention in Los Angeles, California, on November 12–13, 2026. From the applicant pool, PPP will select 10 senior associates or of counsel at major law firms who are “on deck” for partnership consideration within the next 12–18 months. Selected participants will engage with senior in-house counsel, including general counsel and others with outside counsel hiring authority, and introduce themselves and their practices during Convention programming and receive immediate feedback to refine their pitch. In advance of the Convention, each prospective partner will be paired with a partner mentor from a different law firm to provide feedback on presentation skills and career development. Participants, mentors, and in-house counsel panelists will also attend an evening reception designed to foster meaningful professional connections in an informal setting. Questions?
