Comment on the President's March 23 Remarks about Asian Americans and the Coronavirus

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association released the following statement in response to the President's March 23 comments about Asian Americans and the coronavirus:

"We are pleased to see that President Trump has heard the outcry from our community. We thank him for acknowledging that the coronavirus and its spread are not tied to Asian Americans. We hope the President’s comments will lead to a decrease in discrimination, racism, and xenophobia against AAPIs, and we urge his Administration to fight discrimination against AAPIs."
