NAPABA is an umbrella Asian Pacific American bar association comprised of local Asian Pacific American bar associations, as well as individual members. From the beginning, NAPABA's affiliate organizations have played a key role in publicizing and addressing Asian Pacific American legal issues. Indeed, not until the number of affiliate organizations was sufficiently large and their members sufficiently numerous could NAPABA even be formed in the late 1980's. Today, the affiliate organizations continue to be vital to NAPABA, alerting the organization to local issues across the nation and providing a reservoir of tested local leaders who can then contribute to and lead NAPABA at the national level.
NAPABA is always encouraging and supporting the emergence of new affiliates. The number of our affiliate organizations has grown every year since NAPABA's inception. Our current affiliates (as of the last web site update) are listed to the left by regional states.
