NAPABA Selects Best Lawyers Under 40

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) announced its “Best Lawyers Under 40” at its recent 19th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, NV.

The 2007 awardees were selected from a competitive field of attorneys in all practice areas. NAPABA selected 18 individuals to receive the honor of being one of its best lawyers under the age of 40. These individuals have not only attained prominence in their respective legal endeavors, they have also exhibited steadfast commitment to community and public service, particularly in the Asian Pacific American community. They have climbed high up the ladder of success; they have tried and won major trials; they have conducted complex negotiations; they have handled complicated deals; they have been entrusted with the responsibility of heading national practice groups; they have made significant contributions to the public sector – and they have done it all at a relatively early stage of their careers.

This year’s Best Lawyers Under 40 award recipients are:

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is the national association of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors and law students. NAPABA represents the interests of over 40,000 attorneys and about 50 local Asian Pacific American bar associations. Its members represent solo practitioners, large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, legal service and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government. NAPABA continues to be a leader in addressing civil rights issues confronting Asian Pacific American communities. Through its national network of committees and affiliates, NAPABA provides a strong voice for increased diversity of federal and state judiciaries, advocates for equal opportunity in the workplace, works to eliminate hate crimes and anti-immigrant sentiment, and promotes professional development of minorities in the legal profession.
